The Compacting Module is an advanced Tally add-on developed by Vision Tech to meet the unique operational needs of compacting and textile processing industries. This module seamlessly integrates with TallyPrime and automates daily business operations such as job work tracking, material movement, billing, and production reports.
Built using Tally Definition Language (TDL), the module ensures high performance, accuracy, and complete compatibility with your existing Tally data.

Record and track all incoming materials from parties. Capture lot number, weight, roll count, and item details at the point of receipt. Maintain party-wise inward registers with date and quantity for complete traceability.
Manage material return entries smoothly — whether returning unprocessed material to parties or receiving rejected goods back. Linked directly to the original inward for accurate stock reconciliation.
Log compacting process details for each lot — machine-wise, shift-wise, or operator-wise. Track input weight vs output weight to calculate actual production and identify process-level losses in real time.
Handle reprocessing of materials that did not meet quality standards in the first pass. Track reprocess batches with reference to the original process entry and monitor additional costs and wastage separately.
Complete job work management — track materials received for job work, processing done, and material returned to the principal party. Supports both inward job work (received from parties) and outward job work (sent to sub-contractors).
Record all outward material dispatches — processed goods returned to parties or sent for delivery. Capture roll count, weight, lot reference, and vehicle/transport details for complete dispatch control and challan generation.
